Ratchet peered out from his hiding place, a small, cramped cave at the base of a limestone cliff.
The cave was hardly a "proper" cave--created as it was by large slabs of fallen rock that had weathered from the walls of the surrounding gorge. But, seeing as he was light on other options, it was the best he could do given the circumstances.
His spark tightened painfully at the recollection, but he had little time to linger on it. Outside, something that might have been a muffled human voice reached his audio receptors. He wished, desperately, that he could make a more accurate assessment, but given the dense vegetation and irregular topography, he had to accept that "voice" would have to do as a descriptor.

UselessIt was quiet.
Optimus Prime walked through the halls of the Autobot base, checking over each of the Cybertronians residing inside. Bumblebee was watching Rafael as the boy drove his remote controlled car around the room. Smokescreen and Jack were discussing some human customs, the new recruit cracking jokes when he deemed fit. Optimus had yet to see the other Autobots, though he was more concerned about one of them.
Bulkhead had left suddenly, disappearing into the farthest corners of the building. That had been expected, as the former wrecker was upset earlier that day. A larger concern was that his human partner had vanished as well.
Optimus stepped into the main chamber, where two other Autobots stood. Optimus greeted Ratchet with a nod, which the medic returned, before Optimus walked over to Arcee. Arcee heaved off of the wall she was leaning on at her leader's arrival. She waited for Optimus to
Chapter 1: The attack
The sun was shining brightly as Bumblebee and Raf where driving around in Jasper. The Decepticons were very quiet the last few weeks. It even made Optimus worried about it.
So everyone kept themselves busy. Ratchet would work on something, Optimus would go out on a patron or watch the screens for any Decpeticon activity. Miko would drag Bulkhead to one of those monster truck shows or rock with her guitar. Jack would be hanging around with Smokescreen or driving around Arcee.
Raf was enjoying the cold breeze blowing in hair as he held his head out Bumblebee's window. "This is great, Bee!" he said as Bee drove a bit faster.
Raf smiled when Bee set his radio on and play a good song. They kept driving around until two black cars drove behind them. 'Uho!' thought Bumblebee as he saw them.
"What is it, Bumblebee?" Raf asked as he saw Bumblebee speeding up. Bumblebee made some sounds, telling Raf what was going on. "What?! The 'cons are behind us?! Okay, I'll hold

The definition from Merriam-Webster’s dictionary was several lines long, so I shall summarize it in a short sentence for the sake of the readers; it’s the writing that illustrates conversations between two or more characters in a story. We read and hear it all around us, but creating it in your own work can be a challenge. However, if you find dialogue an obstacle in your writing, then don’t push the panic button. In this tutorial, you’ll find by analyzing what dialogue can do and how to use it, you can turn your greatest fear into your greatest ally in your story.
What dialogue is
Like I’ve asserted before, dialogue is basically what the characters are saying to each other. It can be found in multiple mediums such as books, movies, comics, video games, etc. We even engage in dialogue daily without even thinking. When you talk to your best friend, a co-worker, or even your dog, you create dialogue. It’s exchang
